Life Food and Beer lost a long time reader yesterday. Huck’s cousin, Tim, has been a fan of my blog since the beginning when it was My Life in Florida. He was always one of the first (and usually the only person) to comment, like, or share my post. I never got to meet Tim in person, but Huck always talked about their adventures in Panama City. I did get to talk to him through Facebook often. He told me the night Huck asked me to marry him, I had a good one. He was right!
His death was completely unexpected. They talked about him coming to South Florida for a visit. We talked about going to Panama to visit him. It is easy to push things off, and think we can go next year. Or I will call them tomorrow. But tomorrow isn’t promised! Sometimes life isn’t fair.
I am sad I will never get to meet the man Huck shared the earlier part of his life with. Huck cared for him deeply, and I know Tim felt the same way about Huck. Tim will live on through Huck’s memories and stories.
