This is going to be a super quick post because I have so much work to do, but my mom wanted me to post this. I figured I should get it posted before she gets home from work ![]()
The other night was arts and crafts time at the Hatcher/Mathis house. I worked on the boutonnieres. I used fake flowers and super glued them to the shells. I got the flowers pictured for less that a $1 and there is enough to do all the boutonnieres, but after looked at real ones yesterday, I may change it. I kind of feel the fake ones look cheesy. But in the picture you can’t tell. Right? What do you think? Real or Fake?
I experimented with different type of shells and only burned 8 of of 10 fingers with the hot glue gun.
We also realized, we do not like the khakis and tie look. The guys will be wearing just khakis and button up shirts. Oh and flip flops!
I also worked with the girls flowers, too.
I still want to play with it some more, but I think they look OK.
I looked for blue flowers for me, but haven’t had much luck. I did find some cute yellow ones.
Dress Update.
I went to try my dress on again yesterday. It was the first time I put it on and felt comfortable in it. It actually looks great. And it kind of looks some of the dresses I picked out. The lady is doing a great job. She still has a few things to finish before it is complete.
It is killing my mom not being able to see it
Hopefully, I can get some great dress reveal shots at the wedding.
I was also playing with place settings too. I want something like this. Simple yet elegant.
That is all for now. This has to be the fastest post ever. Just under 10 minutes. I would blog more if it took me that long every time.
I love the boutonnieres the fake flowers will be great. Plus cheaper! The girls flowers look better with the shells too! OH Yea! THANKS for rubbing in my face I’m the only one waiting to see you in my 80’s wedding dress. No matter what you do to it, you will be Beautiful, but I can’t wait to see ya with it on. I LOVE YOU, and Miss ya both very much. Mom
