I really am Excited!!

I wanted to say this so everyone knows! I really am excited about the wedding, and I’m really not as stressed as I may seem. I think because I blog about everything, it may not appear that way. And the occasional Facebook post venting about everything from my dress to my maid-of-honor not coming to the wedding, probably doesn’t help.

Besides the MOH stuff, the only other thing I have stressed about, is the reception site, oh and my dress. Originally, I thought it would be fine, but as our guest list got bigger, I got worried. I’m not worried anymore, though. After showing it to Jilda, she reassured me, everything would be OK.

Next comes the dress. Most brides buy a dress they love. They try on countless dresses until they find the one that fits them best. I choose to wear my moms dress. And it has come A LONG way from the 80’s dress it once was.

I went, Monday, for a fitting, and the lady made it to short. No big deal; she can fix it. I go back Saturday to pick it up.

I knew Monday wasn’t the best day to try it on though. I have been trying to get in touch with my Maid-of-Honor for a week and realized she isn’t coming to the wedding. She didn’t tell me that, but I know! That kind of hurts, but I kind of had a feeling this would happen.

I texted the other Bridesmaid that they all got a promotion! The ones that are coming are the only ones that matter!!

I’m so excited to see everything come together, I’m excited to see the look on my Mom’s face when she sees me in her dress, I’m excited to spend time with family and friends, I’m excited to become Huck’s wife!

I felt like I needed to write this, so everyone would know, I’m not the stressed Bride I may seem. I’m just a perfectionist! I’m not a Bridezilla who will be crying at the end of the night because everything was horrible. That’s not me! That doesn’t mean I will not cry, though

Anyways! Last night, Huck and I carved our Pumpkins.

I’ve seen a few pumpkins like this on Pinterest and thought they looked cool. I used an apple corer to punch holes in it.

Huck went with the Goat Head.

Then we started playing with the shutter speed.

Now, its back to work! 9 more days!
