I love my Weiner!!

Just in case you didn’t know, Oopie is a Weiner dog mix.

Huck LOVES to sing in the morning. He usually wakes me up to songs about the dogs. I’m sure from the title you can figure out at least one of them.

Today was my HUSBAND’s Birthday!

He wanted BBQ for his birthday lunch. Like Mexican food, there is NO BBQ in So Flo! Correction: there is a place called Sonny’s AKA Disgrace to real BBQ!!!

We rode around and found our way to Singer Island. We found a restaurant kind of on the beach called Johnny Longboats.

We shared a dozen oysters.

We split a half order of ribs. Not the BBQ Huck was hoping for.

We walked on the beach. It was cool, today. It was only 78 degrees!! I had on jeans and a cardigan! I’ve been here to long.

As we were walking back to the car, we stopped at Two Drunken Goats and had a beer.

Again, I love my job!!

Tonight, we attended the BJBC class.

Cory gives us samples of each beer without telling us what it is. The first beer smelt horrible, but tasted ok. Not a lot of flavor. Cory brought out the bottle, and I was in shock. It was my beloved Shiner Bock. You can’t smell it in the bottle, though! I’ve never had it on draft. I’ll still drink it!

I’ve really enjoyed the class. I’ve learned a lot about what kind of beers I like, and I’m starting to like more.
