It has been a long time since I did a WIAW.
My morning started off like any other. With a large/warm/heavenly cup of coffee with a splash of French Vanilla Creamer.
I found this quote on Pinterest. This pretty much sum up mornings are in our house.
I worked for a few hours before making lunch.

Around 3, I wanted cookies. I didn’t want to make a whole batch (Huck wouldn’t eat them and I would eat them ALL!) I remembered Pinning a recipe on Pinterest for a one cookie recipe.
Here is the picture I pinned. When I clicked on it, to go to the website, it gave me an error message.
I followed the recipe exactly, but mine did not look as nice.
It was more like a very dense cake than a cookie. I microwaved it for 60 seconds, so I may have over cooked it. It tasted OK. It satisfied my cookie craving!
I did some blog stuff before it was time to go to Bx Beer Depot for our beer tasting class. I plan to do a full post later, as part of my new series, Beer of the Week. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know how many beers I have to pick from. It’s going to be hard picking just one.
Once we arrived home, I was hungry. I warmed up some of the leftover Veggie Lasagna from Monday. Have you ever noticed Lasagna is always better a few days later??

Your salad looks good! I’m intrigued by your Beer of the Week series. My husband brews beer, and we are always tasting different kinds of beers (though not lately, since we doing a 30 day Paleo Challenge, bummer!). Prior to meeting him, I wasn’t a beer drinker and now I love all types. I am so glad I found your blog; I can’t wait to follow it!

Your photos are GORGEOUS! That taco salad is restaurant presentation quality and though your version of that tasty cake doesn’t look as gooey as Pinterest, it still looks damn good. YES lasagna is better leftover, and I feel like the leftovers seem to grow!
