Yep. It’s a big one. Not many people know this about me.
I have Flying Anxiety! I don’t know why! I LOVE to travel, but I hate the plane ride to get there! Usually, I just suck it up. Luckily, I’ve always had seat mates that didn’t mind me talking their ear off. That’s how I cope. I talk, A LOT!! I hope you are ready, Huck.
My fear will never hold me back. I may get nervous while I’m on the plane, but I will never let that keep me from exploring the world! I’ll just be a nervous wreck until we get to MN on Thursday.
Anyways, enough about my fears.
We have lots of produce laying around that is going bad. I found some Apples in the refrigerator that were close to their expiration date. I decided to use them for Apple Crisp. When I was looking for the brown sugar, I found a mini Graham Cracker Crust. Mini Apple Crisp Pie maybe?
The crunchy Graham Cracker and Granola worked so well with the soft apples.
I fell asleep working on this post last night. I’m not use to getting up at 7AM.
I’ve decided not to do the New Recipe and New Beer of the week. I have so much going on, and both of those take some time. I do have a new take on Country Fried Steak cooking in the Crock Pot right now for lunch. I’ll be back later with the recipe and more yummy photos.

Have a great trip, Sloane! A beer or two before the flight, your nerves will settle right down. 😉 Your apple crisp looks great, as do your pictures! Nice job styling. 🙂

Thanks! I’m glad our flight isn’t early. My last flight was 6:30AM. A little to early to order a beer.

I also have a fear of flying, but it’s so nice getting there faster, and I also talk to anybody that will listen or find a good mag. or book to read. I hope you two have a safe and fun trip, wish ya’ll we’re coming here. Miss you all so much. I like your apple crisp, and I’m cooking banana nut bread, 2 loafs and some muffins. I’m sure ya know I had a lot of banana’s that needed something done to cook so much. Call me when ya can, I left ya a message earlier. I Love You All, Mom
