the trip is finally over

I’m kind of sad to do this post! By writing each one, I’ve been able to relive our trip. Now, it will officially be over! I’m sad! But now I can start planning for the next one…

Sunday morning, we slept late and just hung out before heading out for breakfast at Jensen Cafe.

We woke up to a snow storm!

At Jensen’s, I ordered the Chipotle Benedict. They were served on pancakes! Yummy!!

Huck, of course, skipped breakfast and went straight for lunch with the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and salad.

Chris ordered eggs, bacon, toast….

And Lemon Ricotta Cakes! They were SOOOOO good! I’ve Googled a few recipes and plan to make them soon!

Lisa ordered the Swoon Over Smoked Salmon Ome-Alot.

Like everything else on our trip, we split everything! The four of us made a great group. No one complained about the bill. We split everything down the middle. Everyone was up for sharing. And no one argued, caused a scene, or wasn’t easy to get along with. They are now our new favorite travel buddies!

After breakfast, we headed back to their house to make a snowman. We were planning to go Ice Skating, but the weather wasn’t working with us.

Once we were finished with our snowman, it was time to head to the airport.

7 hours later we were walking off the plane in West Palm Beach to 75+ degree temps! Major change!

And that is the end of our trip! 😦 It was a great trip! I’m sad it’s over, but can’t wait for the next one.

  4. I’m sure your glad to be home, there’s nothing like going away for a few days, but there’s no place like home. Love You and really enjoy reading about what’s going on in your life and seeing pictures too.
