My First Food Blog Conference

I spent the weekend eating and talking with 125+ people that take pictures of their food, too. This weekend was the Food Blog Forum hosted by Walt Disney World. With the purchase of our Conference tickets, we also received a two night stay at the Grand Floridian and 3 Day Park Hopper Pass. It was an amazing deal.

Dianna, from The Kitchen Prep, and I left around 8AM Friday. Our park tickets were available at 10AM and we wanted to get there early and explore the parks.

We talked none stop the whole way to Orlando. It made the ride go by really fast.

Once we arrived, we checked in at the hotel.

My room was ready so we dropped off our bags. I had the room all to myself. It was my first time staying at a hotel alone. Well, technically alone. I had my own room.

After checking in and getting our tickets, we made our way to Epcot.

First stop, Mexico and beer.

Then, we traveled around the world. And it was HOT!

We went back to our hotel around 5 and got ready for the FBF Welcome Party. We had problems with transportation the whole first day. We waited on buses that were never coming, boats that took over 30 minutes, and got on the wrong train a couple times. By day two, we kind of figured it out.

At the reception, we had one hour to mingle with other bloggers and Disney provided some really great food. I only got one picture of the food. Again, Foodie Fail!

After the Reception, Dianne, Erin {from Eat Bake Drink Cook}. and I went to the Magic Kingdom. We rode Space Mountain {My favorite ride at Disney} and I realized I’m getting old. After getting off the ride, my neck and back were killing me. Has that ride always been so rough?

We arrived back after midnight, and I finally laid my head down around 1:30AM. 7AM came WAY to early.

Saturday, started with Breakfast at the Grand Floridian Conference Center.

These were the cutest fruit cups!

We had sessions all morning. Around noon, we stopped for lunch.
