This has to be my favorite recipe to date. Or at least my favorite picture!
Try not to lick the screen. I know it’s hard. I had to restrain myself, and I have leftovers. These buns were a mix between a bun and biscuit. The outside had the texture of a bun, but the inside was flakey like a biscuit. I thought they worked great with the Pork.
This recipe would be great for a Memorial Day Get Together. I cooked a large Boston Butt in the Slow Cooker, but you can roast it in the oven or boil on the stove. It’s an easy way to feed lots of people. And it’s cheap!
Once the pork was done, I heated a pan and seared the pork to add a little crunch. Huck’s favorite part of smoked meat is the “bark”. Searing the meat helps recreate that crunch he enjoys. I added my AMAZING Beer BBQ Sauce to the pan to coat the meat and add a nice glaze.
We had leftover for lunch today and it was just as good. After lunch, we went to TBC for “One Beer”!
After a couple beers, we went for a walk on the beach.
Yep, we live where people vacation! Paradise!!
Oh and I feel the blog is lacking pictures of the dogs lately.
Just letting it all hang out!
As you can tell, nothings changed! I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day Weekend.
Come back tomorrow for the recipe for this drink… Trust me! You will want to make this!!
