Photo A Day- January

I haven’t shared much about my personal life lately. Originally, this site started as a journal of sorts. A way to document our lives in a new place. Now, I either can not find the time to blog, or I just share recipes. I kind of miss looking back on some of the thinks we do each month. I can easily get lost looking back on old travel post or outings. It’s like I’m able to relive all those fun time months from now.

Missing the personal aspect of the blog, I came up with an idea… Photo A Day {Actually, I got the idea from Sally’s Baking Addiction}. Each month, I’ll purge all the picture from my phone into one post. This way I can keep up with what we’re doing, but still continue with the “Food Blog” theme.

Here we go:

Jan 1st- Our New Years Eve was spent at the emergency vet with London. He had an infected abscess that needed to be drained. {Dogs are so expensive!!} New Years Day was spent taking care of him.

January 2nd- We took down our Christmas decorations 😦 Sad day!

Jan 3rd- BYOB improv show at The Jove!

Jan 4th- Traditional picture on the beach where Huck proposed!

Jan 7th- Solo walk on the beach. Peaceful!

Jan 9th- Growler Friday! Love my growler bag from BrewersCRAP!

Jan 10th- Palm Beach Zoo. Unless you have children, do not go on a Saturday!

Jan 12th- Milk Stout Triple Chocolate Scones!!

Jan 13th- View from my desk.

Jan 14th- Dinner at Burger Bar. I was invited as part of a media event. We’ve been a few times in the past, and always ordered burgers. It was nice getting to sample some of their other dishes. The Lobster Mac and Cheese and Desserts were my favorite!! Honestly, we didn’t have anything that wasn’t good. Now, I want a burger!!

Jan 17th- Cruisin’ for a Boozin’.

Jan 18th- Still milking the “I’m hurt and need to be pampered” routine!

Jan 19th- A special tour.

Jan 20th- Trying not to get sick! It worked minus an annoying cough that will not go away.

Jan 22th- Dinner for one. {Skinnytaste Canned Tuna Ceviche served on a roma tomato and topped with a ridiculous amount of Sriracha}

Jan 23rd- Field of Beers! My favorite event of the year.

Jan 24th- Jupiter Beer Festival

Jan 25th- A really long day of drinking!

Jan 26th- Beautiful sunset from the beach! It looks like a painting.

Jan 28th- Black Bean Brownies

Jan 29th- Huck had a job in Central Florida, so we decided to stop at the Florida’s Natural visitor center.

Jan 30th- The world’s biggest omelette.

Jan 31st- Exploring the international grocery store near our house and remember how much I love that place!   

That was my month in pictures. Hopefully, I can have February’s post up before the middle of March.
