I feel really guilty today. Huck has been coughing all night and all morning. HE NEVER GETS SICK!! Last week, when I wasn’t feeling good, I told him “You never get sick. It’s not fair!” In all the years we have been together, I do not think he’s had more than a sore throat. I, on the other hand, almost died twice from some really bad colds that progressed into more serious stuff. (I didn’t almost die, but I was sent to the ER because I couldn’t breath. I thought I was going to die!)
I hate seeing him sick, though. It makes me feel bad for him. I want to make him feel better. NOW!
I am happy, we both got our little cold now and not in a couple weeks, though. That would be horrible, Huck: “I (cough cough cough) Do (cough)!”
I’m hoping he feels better today!
I bet this will cheer him up! My office is in the living room. Oopie likes to lay on the couch beside me while I work. Here are just a few of the crazy positions I see him in. I can’t help but laugh when I look over and see him like this!
Really. He lives a hard life!!
Also, I’ll be happy when the wedding gets here, so I can clear out my dining room again. If you are close to Trader Joes, try their $2 wines! They are great! I’ve been enjoyed the white and red.

I HATE THAT DRIVE! The further south you go, the worse the driving gets. I feel like I’m playing a game of dodgeball with the other cars. Hopefully, we can stay on the Turnpike.

I hope Huck starts feeling better soon! There is nothing more pitiful than a sick man. A woman can still run the world while feeling under the weather, but a guy with the sniffles would make you think he’s dying! 😉 I’ve found that taking probiotics (the super high-grade kind, I can get you the details if you want) helps speed up the healing process & even helps with stopping a cold before it starts. Just a thought.
Your dog is just too funny! I love that he keeps you entertained while you work. 🙂
Also… I heard recently that we are getting a Trader Joes soon in Palm Beach Gardens!! I hope it’s true, I’ve heard such good things about it and would love to check it out. So glad to read that all of your wedding plans are coming together. When everything settles down & you’re ready to get back to blog-talk, I’d love to get together again!

I would be super excited if we got a Trader Joes. My hangover post may increase if that happens! JK. If you’re available next week, we could have a blogging date. As soon as the weddings over, I’m going to vamp up the blog and talk about more that my crazy dog and drinking. 🙂
