College Game Day Leftovers

First off, I would like to say go Dawgs I love lazy days spent watching Football. You can’t watch Football without snacks, thought.

Our refrigerator is still full of leftovers, and I was planning to freeze the meats and throw out the rest of the food, but I HATE TO WASTE FOOD. The wheels started turning, and I decided to make some snacks using the leftovers.

 

Ham and Cheese Crescents

Makes 8 Croissants

• 1 Package Crescents
• 8 Slices Leftover Apricot and Honey Glazed Ham or regular ham
• 4 Slices Cheese- Cut in half
• Glaze drippings- Optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lay crescents on a cutting board, and top larger end with slice of ham and cheese. Roll crescents up starting at the larger end. Place on a baking sheet that is sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Brush with glaze to cover top. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from foil. Serve hot.

Buffalo Turkey Dip

Makes enough for two (maybe)

• 1 1/2 Cup Shredded Leftover Turkey or Chicken
• 6 Oz Cream Cheese (I used Low Fat)
• 1/4-1/3 Cup Wing Sauce (I used Franks Red Hot Wing Sauce)
• 1/4-1/3 Cup Shredded Cheese
• Extra Cheese to Sprinkle on top

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix together all ingredients, reserving extra cheese. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Spoon mixture into dish and top with reserved cheese. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until mixture is browned and bubbly.Serve with carrots and celery or tortillas chips.I even had leftovers to make dessert.

Cream Cheese Crescents with Cranberry Dipping Sauce

Makes 8 crescents

• 1 Package crescents- Uncooked
• 4 Tbsp Cream Cheese
• 1/2 Cup Leftover Cranberry Sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spoon 1/2 Tbsp Cream Cheese onto large end of crescents. Roll up crescents starting at larger end. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Serve warm with dipping sauce.

Last night, Huck and I rode our bikes to Downtown Abacoa for dinner. It was a COLD ride!!

If only he looked at me like that

We had Dinner at Jumby Bay and split the “Jumby”laya. This was half an order! It was the perfect amount of food.

After dinner, we walked next door, to JJ Muggs. We watched Football, talked, and people watched.

Huck made this for me while I was in the bathroom! He said it represented how much we loves me. JJ Muggs gets you with their 2-4-1 beers… obviously!

Now time to water FSU vs UF. Come on FSU!!
