Berry Fresh Breakfast

Sunday, we rode our bike to a new restaurant by our house. Berry Fresh just opened in last month or so. Huck did some research and found out this is their second location. The Port St Lucie location had good reviews on Yelp, so we figured it was worth checking out.

The restaurant uses locally grown ingredients as much as possible. I’m always a fan of Farm to Table dining!

The place was busy, but we were seated right away. We sat down and started going over the huge menu. I’m not a fan of large menus. I get overwhelmed and lose focus. I find everything sounds good and I can’t pick just one thing!

The waiter recommended the Big Breakfast Meal Deal and the Berry Fresh Slam if we were really hungry. I wanted pancakes, so I went with the Slam and Huck ordered the Big Breakfast.

The Big Breakfast came with 2 Eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes or grits, toast and coffee.

My breakfast came with two of the worlds largest pancakes.

2 eggs, bacon or sausage, and grits. It was a bunch of food, but the Slam was a better price than just pancakes and it came with bacon. BACON!!! Oh and they make their grits with heavy cream. And they were definitely creamy. A little cheese and they would’ve been perfect!

The pancakes stole the show though. They were everything good pancakes should be. Warm. Fluffy. Sweet. Decadent. And the warm syrup was a big bonus! By far one of the best pancakes I’ve had in a while.

After breakfast, we stopped at Winn-Dixie and grabbed a few things and headed home.

I spent the rest of the day reading on the balcony. I don’t feel as guilty reading for hours if I’m outside.

Nervous Breakdown!!

I’m behind on my blogs. My website hasn’t been working correctly. I contacted GoDaddy and they discovered a problem with my theme/layout of the blog. The only way to correct it was to delete it. OK, that’s not to bad. Then, they told me there was a chance everything could be deleted. I spend a good two hours crying while they got everything taken care of.

Thanks to the amazing people at GoDaddy, my blog is currently working. I spent most of the day working on recovering and redoing everything I lost. I setup a new layout for the blog, but everything is still the same.

I’m currently in the process of learning how to back everything up, so if I do have a problem again, everything will be safe!
