When is the rainy season?

I’m BORED!! SO BORED!! I refused to spend the day looking at my computer, wishing I had more work. I started chipping away at my to do list. I started with some craft/decorating tasks. I ordered some prints online today, and will pick them up tomorrow. Once I get the pictures up, I’ll post some pictures. Our house is so naked right now!

One nice  thing about having so much free time, I have more time to cook. Our breakfast was inspired by this…

Do you remember these? I use to be a Fast Food junky! Until I started working at the hospital, I would go out to eat every day for lunch, and most days it was fast food. Most mornings, I would stop at get breakfast, too. I’ve consumed a couple orders of these in my life.

Last week, I drove by a Burger King and seen a sign for French Toast Sticks. I’ve been craving French Toast and this seemed like a great way to change it up.

Baked French Toast Sticks

I’m in love with Arnold’s Heath-full Nutty Grain!! A thicker sliced bread would probably work better for this recipe, but I enjoyed the nutty crunch.

  1. Yum! You reminded me how much I LOVE french toast and that I haven’t made it in forever!! Like, years. Craziness! My mom used to make them like every other weekend growing up. Totally making them next weekend (would be this one but we’re going up to Charlotte to get a pool table – yay!)

    1. I usually do, but I thought this way would be healthier. I got the idea from the baked french toast you soak overnight. This is just a lot healthier!

  2. In the process of making them. They haven’t turned out as good as I hoped. But that’s mainly my lack of being able to cook. Lol
