Brrrrr!!

It is cold in South Florida today! And windy. I like to take advantage of the few cold days we get here. I’m a fan of soups and stews and always crave warm recipes on cooler days.

Today, I’m sharing a recipe that will warm you up and make your house smell good. Well, it will make your house smell good if you like onions and garlic. If not, your house will stink!

French Onion Soup

French Onion Soup (6)

I LOVE caramelized onions! I’ve made French Onion Soup in Culinary School. I really should make it more often. Or just caramelized a bunch of onions and make my own French Onion Dip! Yummy! I can eat my body wait in French Onion Dip. I do not trust myself allow with a container! I will eat a full container in one sitting. Oh, I think that is what I’m taking to our friends house tonight, then I can leave it at there house! 🙂

“Decorating”

Our walls are so naked. Huck’s office has pictures on the wall, but that’s about it. This week, I decided to hang some pictures on the walls. I bought a few picture frames at the dollar store a while back.

This week, I painted the frames white, covered the back with burlap, from our wedding, and hot glued on a few starfish, from the wedding too.

I also, ordered a Engineer Print from Staples. I found the idea from Dear Lillie’s blog. I only ordered one to make sure it came out. I was really please with it. This pictures would be much better in color, but I have lots of pictures that will look good in black and white. And it only cost $3.65!!!! For a 24×36!

I think I want to frame one large picture over the bed and move the other two frames to another wall.

My print looks great for less than $4!!

We are off to have dinner with friends. Stay warm everyone 😉
