Yesterday, we took the dogs to Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
We walked the Kitching Creek Trail. I was worried that an hour walk would be to long with Ginny, but he seemed to be having a great time. I’m sure they watered every bush in that park.
Welcome to the Real Florida. Not much to see.
Oopie was struggling at the end. He isn’t designed for anything besides sleeping all day!
He was eyeing something off the deck but to lazy to get up and chase it.
Molesting?
After we seen this sign, we talked about how we’ve never seen a wild alligator in Florida.
A few minutes later, we seen this.
Looking at this picture freaks me out. I can’t believe we were this close to a wild alligator and there was nothing between it and us!!
Oopie spent the rest of the day sleeping. He did not move an inch all afternoon and a few time, we thought he was dead!!
Once we arrived home, I made some super quick nachos. They were the perfect afternoon snack.
I topped the tortilla chips with refried beans, cheese, diced tomatoes, onions, peppers, and salsa and cooked under the broiler until the cheese was melted (about 2 or 3 minutes). I topped the nachos with lettuce before serving.
We spent the rest of the day cleaning. I have big plans for our closets this week. I started a list of project, and organizing our closets was number one on the list. We are planning on being in this house another year or so, and I figured it was time to make it a home instead of an empty box! I’m also working on office ideas for me. I’m so desperate for an office with a door, I thought about clearing a space in our huge walk-in closet. I just need a small space. My “office” is currently in the living room, and I feel like I’m always at work.
Well I figured out this was not the same park. Glad the boy’s enjoyed it. The nacho’s looked good enough to eat through the screen. Talk to ya later, Love You All

It was a different park. I’ll take you there next time you come down. Maybe we can see the alligator again!
